Angel Lover

Abandoned in a cold dungeon.
Deep in the depths of dark despair,
Lost, alone, longing for comfort,
You found, nourished and rescued me.

Your smile gave hope and promised love,
Arms comforted my weary soul,
Lips, soft, awakened my desire.
You took my hand and guided me,

Through the darkness and confusion.
You have taught and cared for me.
Concern and sharing I have learned.
You have helped me to become whole.

You have helped me to become me.
Now I smile, I have a future.
I thank you, my angel lover,
My savior, my woman, my wife.
