Phenominal Countenance

Forgotten inside a mechanical stupor
we roll through this life
of shallow substance
agonized by those
around us,as we
feel soft refined edges
touch and stumble across
a forbidden charm.
Left to a subliminal erect
affection of the poet,
swallowed by the
notorious, opaque vistas
of solitude.
Where an apparition of hope
makes us to give haste
to chase the absence of a 
phenominal countenace.
