Does the universe care?
![]() The lamp glowed yellow, piercing through the wintry mists That drifted up from the snow like frosty tendrils of an icy hell. The gale drove eddies of leaves and white flakes In a wild frantic dance set to the beat of a drunk mans song. Drifting up from the snow like frosty tendrils of an icy hell The silence engulfed the lone figure bent low with his load. Each step followed by a pause, a weary glance up and A vain tug at his tattered cloak as warmth had long fled. The gale drove eddies of leaves and white flakes Around the pale frozen fingers as they reached out to the lamp. And the lonely soul slid down with a crunch into the grounds dark embrace As peace sang that all was not night and light was not gone. In a wild frantic dance set to the beat of a drunk mans song The gale drove eddies of leaves and white flakes As peace sang that all was not night and light was not gone The lamp glowed yellow, piercing through the wintry mists.
