When the horse you’ve backed has lost, such is life.
Such is life. In the race at two o’clock, such is life. On a fancied steeplechaser You have bet, sparing no expense. The useless amphimacer Goes and falls at the first fence. Such is life. Reader’s Digest mailing junk? Such is life. Such is life. Writing maybe you have won. Such is life. As a Reader’s Digest user (Christmas present from oddball aunt) You’re already a loser (You’ve tried to cancel, but can’t.) Such is life. When your girlfriend lets you down, such is life. Such is life. Once as pure as driven snow, such is life. Her affections have now shifted To a friend it is all too clear. Once pure snow has now drifted. You’re no longer her sweet dear. Such is life.
