The Storm
Based on my opinion of "Political Correctness"

My eyes have witnessed the coming storm
Hidden covertly in the everyday norm
I see the darkness encroaching on our lives
Slicing and dicing our souls with hatred sharp as knives

I see the end of morality plain as day
I see the battle between good and evil ebb and sway
I see neighbors, once friends, turned bitter with hate
I see the end of man, their predestined fate

For man has become a greedy loathsome beast
For the love of our fellow man we couldn’t care in the least
Oh we talk a good game, give when it suits our interests best
But if truly challenged our generosity fails the test

We cast down law and order unless it suits our needs
We listen to no-one, we master our own deeds
We try to run the lives of others, while barely running our own
As we are the kings of our Hippocratic throne

We spit the name God like some foul three letter word
We shout for attention in the world but our words are not heard
Things like faith and honor are things of the past
While things like political correctness have become powerful and vast

We’ve thrown core values to the dogs to be ravaged and chewed
In their place vile disdain has been hued
A storm is brewing, there is evil on the wind
If left unchecked, only Satan will be left standing in the end
