Whispers
Life is empty without you.

Whispers.
I hear whispers.
All around me
They sound.

Quiet whispers.
Lonely whispers.
Around me
They abound.

If only I knew
That these whispers--came from you
I'd welcome them--
In my life.

'Cause these whispers;
Sad whispers,
Visit me--keep me company
At night.

And I'm left
Feeling lost;
Debating the cost;
Of a life--
Filled--
With whispers.
