Goodbye
A poem about pain and saying goodbye to someone you love

Make the pain go away
It all hurts so damn bad
Where did you come from...
My guardian angel without wings.

Standing there crying
I could't see the silver lining
You wrapped me in your arms
And I still don't know...

Was it good or bad?

Broken and bleeding
I never called for help
Damaged and torn
I didn't ask for you.

Now I lay here screaming,
Begging and pleading
And I never imagined...
I never thought that I...
Would be the one to say...
Goodbye.
