Rhyme Time
A fun poem about nothing. The way I study, you can expect more installments.

I’m sitting at the monitor
Typing you a rhyme
I should be doing homework
Instead of wasting time

You’d think I would’ve learned by now
You’d think I’d wisen up
These myriad distractions
Are giving me bad luck

Astronomy neglected
And rhetoric as well
My western civ is somewhere
That “where” I cannot tell

The snow outside is blowing.  There are
People in my room
My nose is really itchy
Let’s go to dinner soon

I’ve eaten too much chocolate
And played too many games
I wish I’d started reading,
But that would be too lame

I really want to focus
I really want to stop
But now I must discover
How many rhymes will drop

I’m sure I could accomplish
A lot in just one day
If someone would revive me
And take my Dell away.
