A Minute

Have you ever found yourself thinking, "I may as well be talking to the wall"? Well, I certainly have It's just part of life I guess. This little ditty came from a weekend of feeling frustrated as I tried to get my spouse, my kids, my dog and yes even my cat....to listen.

If I could grab a minute
A minute of your time
And know that that minute
Was well and truly mine
I would probably be quiet--
Unable to say a thing
It would be shocking to know
You were actually listening!
