I brush back the hair from your brow as you sleep, And ask the good Lord your soul to keep. I stare in wonder of what we created, The joy we share since the time that we dated. How can one be as blessed as I am, To be gifted a lover and a best friend? I pause and I contemplate all I've been given, Since the time we two had us a weddin'. Oh how wonderful it is when I gaze in your eyes, The wonders I see never fail to surprise. My heart swells with love each time you are near, When we are parted it's more than I can bear. I love you my darling with all of my might, I delight in you sweetie all day and all night. Years together--our love has just grown, But oh how these many years have flown. We are so old now but what the heck, I still love it darlin' when you kiss my neck. I want you forever and forever you'll be, The only love my heart will accept for me.
