Waiting For You
Even though you're pushing me away, I'll still be here waiting for you. DP

When it feels like the world is falling apart
And you just can't get rid of the ache in your heart
When those dark storm clouds are hiding the sun
You may want to give up, but don't you dare run

Because I love you, no matter what they say
And I will always stand by you, come what may
If only you knew how it hurts to see you cry
And how scared I am that you might say goodbye

I'd do anything now to see you smile again
To bring back the happiness that you felt back then
But you won't let me in, you're keeping me out
You're consumed by your grief, overcome by your doubt

I'm watching you now with tears on my face
Wishing to bare your pain, take your place
I can't do that, though, no matter how I want to
So I'll continue standing here, waiting for you
