FOR RICHARD ANDREW  10/02/78 - 01/07/79

My fragile cherubim
Too perfect you are
Envy to sun
And bane to jealous star

A  transcendent luxury
Not meant for earth
My recollection is
But a gift of your birth

As a glutton
I'm left unsatisfied
But for a season
I was most gratified

Forever those moments
Indelibly marked
The brush of your fingers
About my heart

Those smiles
Still illuminate
Those whisps of breath
Too tempting for fate

The incessant years
I've longed for you
Yes my heart, my soul,
I remember you.
