Oh What a God
Oh God who loves and cares for us, although we go astray. With love beyond the realm of earth, You bought us back again. The sacrifice You gave for us- Your precious son-the Christ. His blood was shed on Calvary’ cross, To pay sin’s awful price. This act of love displayed on earth for all the world to see. You are not the God, that Satan claims, Who scares humanity. The Word You gave, your only Son, displayed humility. True love in thought, word and deed, a replica God of thee. Oh what a God of love you are, Who would never let us go. You blessed us with another gift, Your precious Holy Ghost. Reform our hearts and souls and minds then finish your design. Transforming sinners into saints, to dwell with you on high.
