Day begins with a frolic with mom,
Gathering flowers all is calm. Mid-morning; graduation and prom. Dad and I sang our college song. Move on to a family at noon. Our children grown; more family soon, But moments ago our honeymoon. Grandchildren, yet another boon! Evening; I bid thee farewell my dear. Far too precious to linger here. Your melodious voice I still hear. And now I've almost come full sphere. This day has been a glorious one. I'm gifted with a fruitful run. As the colors set, silver moon comes, The best day of my life is done.
