 Introduction to Elricification
I have dumbed myself down for the sake of social advancement for too long.

I have dumbed myself down for the sake of social advancement for too long.
That experiment at the end of middle school did not really work in the first place, and it has essentially ruined me academically. I thought I was struggling at getting through high school by the size of my brain instead of the size of my dick, but all I was doing was struggling at getting through high school. I expected it all--girls, popularity, stuff--to come while I left my true potential to rust beneath lock, key, and armed guard, then became more and more uncaring as none of it came, as I faltered and became alienated from everyone else once more. This was, and forevermore will be, the biggest mistake I have ever made.
With this realisation came the need for a plan, one that would change my social standing ability while leaving the backbone of who I am untouched. Weeks of dwelling on it and study of other’s successes left me with such a plan.

1. Delete all other names, leaving only Elric.
2. Dress nicely. It worked decently enough in middle school, so it should work now, since image is even more everything.
3. Expand social horizons locally. Attempt to become less eccentric while leaving objects of eccentricity unchanged.
4. Apply infinite intelligence and imagination to schoolwork.
5. Find a job. While money isn’t a lifesaver, it will increase ability to handle responsibility and reduce burden (dependency?) on friend’s wallet sizes.
6. Get a car. Apparently, having a car = a social life.
7. Learn to play a musical instrument. The cool-sock girls invariably dig a musician.

With these seven steps, I would be able to shed the disaster of Josh Kalinich and rise anew as Elric. With these, I would at last truly break out of my shell. Then, I would burn it.
But drawing up the plan was the easy part. Enacting and following it would be where the real challenge lay.
