Aren't we supposed to take turns?

Marital Bliss

Marriage requires compromise,
We're supposed to take turns.
Sometimes I'm so painfully sad,
Yet you don't seem to notice.
I've tried to tell you many times,
But you're too busy to listen.
I love you so much; I always give in.
Well, at least one of us is happy.
