Where Worries are Washed Out to Sea
Quizmo LaGrande

Where worries are washed out to sea,
Waves tear apart whats and wherefores
Gathered in eve’s gloaming,
Sudsing and foaming
Nonsense
Into need-not-be.

Worries unwanted cast to the wind,
Coast past the isles of Why and Whatnot,
Wafting into currents of courage,
Not allowing doubt or discourage.
Letting troubles
Drift and recede.

Where worries are washed out to sea,
A whirlpool swirls and circles,
Sucking sorrows and sadness,
Allowing only love and gladness
To buoy beyond...
To flow free.
