Do you care?

FREEDOMS' VOICE

You "Support Our Troops", or so you say,
Do you think about him every day?
Do you work to make his spirit light
Or complain about his choice to fight?

Do you think about his fam'ly here
And how they pray for one so dear?
Do you care about the friends he's lost,
The ones who chose to pay the cost?

Do you ever wonder, if you think at all,
Why he chose to fight and, maybe, fall?
If you'll listen to me well, my dear,
I'll try to make his reason clear.

Have you enjoyed the right to say
What ere you're thinking every day?
You worship God, or choose to not.
That choice by Warriors' blood was bought!

Have you ever suffered, in this land,
The brutal fist of Tyrants' hand?
And now, I wonder if you care
That Freedom's here because he's there?

Support Our Troops - call out with pride!
And don't forget the ones who've died.
A mothers' loss, our Freedoms' gain,
How hard the heart feels not the pain!

For tho' you may deride his choice
He fights to give you Freedoms' Voice.
So suffer not the Fools who sneer
And say "We ought not interfere!"

If not for him and Brothers' Band
We'd lose the Freedom of our land.
Stand firmly proud, to him be true,
Give thanks for what he gave to you.

He gave his hand, he gave his might,
Some even gave their very life.
No longer sneer at Warriors choice,
Instead, give thanks for Freedoms' Voice.
