I finally hear, when I stop to breathe.

He Never Interrupts

As I babble on and on He listens.
When I am finally exhausted,
And stop briefly to catch my breath,
The silence overcomes me.
In the stillness, I feel His answer.


Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers.
Thank You for listening to me when I babble.
Most of all, thank You for Your answers,
Audible and quiet ones, known only
When I stop to breathe.
