Last night I was walking
I heard a sound and turned and there you were You held me close, so warm (You were alive) Your heartbeat was real (You were alive again) We strolled along in the moonlight Talking about everything Finally I realized that you couldn't really be here and I asked Why? Hadn't you wanted to stay? With me? With one of your sad smiles you slowly shook your head and stroked my face with your hand (You were so cold) Your image fluttered and wasn't there and I slept on, walking alone.
