Seeing you today walking down the hall
I couldn't help but think about the last time I held your hand
Or the last time I felt your lips against mine
I tried to smile
But instead felt the heat of tears trying to run down my face.

Everytime I see your face it all comes back to me
All the long bus trips back from the games
The movies went to see, but never watched
And most of all,
The way you looked at me.

We go on as if things have changed
But I think we both know
Love is one thing that'll never leave.
