the thought of your voice
keeps me up late nights full of my desperate cries for you are muffled by my desperate fear of us hold you close so you will love me and closer yet so you won't hurt me each night drunk on a roller coaster of emotion you have never been good at concealing from me any emotion that you feel, don't feel you seem to think you can hide the obvious. every turn of eye betrays you but i can't strangle my instinct to be afraid and i tremble when you hold me close
