My eyes are blurry,
My heart is healing,
I can’t quite place,
These tough new feelings.

For you’re back in my life,
And back in my arms,
Promising to me,
That my heart, you shall not harm.

I want to let my heart open,
Let our love soar like a dove,
To give you all that I have,
But most of all my sweet love.

However it’s hard,
For you have broken my heart before,
Hard to give you all of me,
And not just walk out the door.

For you say you love me,
More than anything in this world,
As my heart starts to fall again,
I ask myself why do I need this girl?

But I pray to God,
Hoping you wont hurt me again,
Wanting to start our lives together over,
Being more than just friends.

Right now I can do nothing but trust you,
I’ve put my heart into jeopardy again,
Go on and hurt it another time,
Force me to make that hurt end…
