A Supreme Guide to:
The Tangled Woven

By Samantha Nicole Sherman

The concepts and/or all ideas relating to the TW are property of the author of this piece, but are open to any aspiring authors who may wish to make use of the ideas so long as they are not committing plagiarism in any form of this item or any other concerning this piece. Basically, you can use the Tangled Woven in your story as long as you don’t copy off of any of my works or alter their concepts. Thank you.

1. What is the Tangled Woven?
The Tangled Woven is a network of worlds created by a person and run by their imagination.
2. How is it run?
The Tangled Woven is constructed of every single world ever created, thus it is ever-growing and of infinite dimensions. Each world has its own set of Laws, like the Laws of Physics and Nature, and they are separated by invisible, intangible boundaries called the Walls of Logic. Essentially, the Walls are the points at which the distance between two worlds becomes too great for their logic to touch. However, if the distance between them were to diminish, their logics would merge and they would become sort of limbo-chaotic, with laws contradicting each other, and facts being true and false at the same time. But since nobody has the strength or power necessary to do that (since none exists) that’s probably the least one needs to worry about.

3. Who runs a world?
No one person runs a world, rather, the world is run by four levels of existence:
a. The Dyn are the people of Reality (the real world) who create the world and their inhabitants (as well as Gods) and act as fate, deciding on the stories of the inhabitants. Other than those two things, the Dyn serve no other purpose.
b. The Gods serve the Dyn by watching the world and providing a sense of conscience to its inhabitants.
c. The Watchers are like the messengers of the Gods. Since Gods can’t take a material form among mortals, they rely on Watchers to perform their physical tasks.
d. The Inhabitants are the races that exist in a world. The Inhabitants may become Watchers, but not Gods and certainly not Dyn.

4. What is WARP?
WARP (which doesn’t stand for anything, I just accidentally hit CAPS on the keyboard every time I type it) is the official way to travel between worlds. There are spells like ‘Teleport’ or ‘Blink’ that may be powerful enough to send one a world or two over, but WARP is the easiest because one does not have to be a powerful magic-user to use it. All one must do to WARP is travel to their God(s)’ place of worship and ask him/her/them for permission to travel. If you’re a Watcher, you don’t need the permit.
5. How does one become a Watcher?
All one must do is complete a set of tasks for their God(s).
6. What are the advantages of being a Watcher?
A Watcher may be granted powers or other gifts for his/her service to his/her God(s). Not to mention they don’t need permission to WARP.
7. Can a God ever become material?
There are two ways for a God to become material:
a. He/she/it may relinquish their powers to a Watcher
b. He/she/it may be made material by the Dyn
8. How many worlds can a Dyn create?
The number of worlds a Dyn can create is infinite. They may create as many worlds as they wish, since they are not needed for the world’s upkeep.
