I do not know where to go, or how I’m gonna get there.
Other people think they know, how I should live in splendor.
I thought about the times, the rhythm of my rhymes.
Thinking thoughts I may have lost along the way.
My friends say all is fine, try not to worry all the time.
And others think, my path to righteousness is won.
I move from here, wishing I were there,
Searching light to guide my way with one.
The sweet aroma that I smell, brings joy into my head.
It makes me feel as though I’ll soon be dead.
I don’t know where I am, or what I did to get here.
I must shake the webs away; enjoy the field of my surrender.
With your light I see, that you bring to me,
A road into my life that's now unbroken.
With my mind's gate tilted straight,
My walk down this road is done.
Finally I walk with thee;
I know we both have won.
