... Gonna Get There I do not know where to go, Or how I’m gonna get there. Other people think they know, How I should live in splendor. I thought about the times, The rhythm of my rhymes. Thinking thoughts I may Have lost along the way. My friends say all is fine, Try not to worry all the time. And others think, my path To righteousness is won. I move from here, Wishing I were there, Searching light to guide My way to her, the one. The sweet aroma that I smell, Brings joy into my head. It makes me feel As though ~ I’ll find what I did seek.. I don’t know where I am, Or what I did to get here. I must shake the webs away; Enjoy the field of true surrender. With your light I see, What you brought to me, A road into my life That now will be unbroken. With my mind's gate tilted straight, My walk down this road is done. Finally I walk with thee; I know we both have won.
