Eve was The First Woman To:

Once upon a time God created Eve. Before then there were no women on this earth. No babies, no little girls--no big girls and no Mommy’s.

God put Eve in the beautiful garden of Eden. There He introduced her to the only other person on earth, who happened to be a man named Adam. Eve was very pretty and had a perfect form. Soon Adam and Eve fell in love with each other and wanted to get married. So, in this magnificent garden among all the pretty flowers, plants, and trees, God performed the first marriage. In front of all of the birds, animals, and creatures of the land and sea, Adam and Eve kissed each other and became husband and wife.

Eve was created to be helpmate for Adam and they had lots of work to do. They had to look after the all the various animals. They were also responsible to look after the lawns, flowers, and plants. Adam and Eve had fun as they worked together . They’d laugh together, hold hands and run among the trees. They loved each other.

Every evening they would go for a stroll in the garden and talk with God. They would tell God all their hopes and dreams. They would thank Him for each other and for the beautiful garden where they lived. God would tell them of His great love for them. He would teach them His laws and statues. He would also tell them His plan for mankind. It was a Paradise on earth!

Then something terrible happened. Eve was out in the orchard gathering fruit, and just like we might do, she sometime would eat one. The fruit looked so delicious and it’s aroma filled the whole orchard. Eve was allowed to eat all the different types of fruit from all the trees, except one. God told Adam and Eve that the tree in the middle of the garden was His and that they could not eat the fruit off it.

Just as Eve was about to pick a big juicy piece of fruit, along came Satan in the disguise of a snake.

“Did God tell you, that you can not eat the fruit off every tree in the garden,” Satan hissed.

“We can eat all the fruit in the garden, except the fruit from one tree. That tree belongs to God,” Eve replied . "God told us that if we were to eat the fruit from that tree we would die," said Eve.

Satan replied with a laughing jeer,
“ You will not die, but you will become very wise like God Himself. You will be able to tell good from evil.”

Satan deceived Eve. She looked at the fruit and saw how nice it was.
" Why not eat it? I’d like to be as wise as God," she thought.

So she ate the fruit from the tree that belonged to God. Then she gave a piece to Adam, and he also ate it. Immediately their eyes were open to sin and they knew that they had no-o-o clothes on. They were naked. Both Adam and Eve were very embarrassed.

“I’m naked!" They said to each other. They hurried off and made clothes out of leaves. That night when Adam and Eve were out in the garden walking they heard God coming. Quick as a flash they ran and hid.

“Why are you hiding?"
God asked. “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten the fruit from the tree I commanded you not to.”

Adam answered and told God, "Eve gave me the fruit and I have eaten it."

Eve knew the serpent had lied and she told God, "I was deceived and ate the fruit as well."

God was very sad and angry because they had disobeyed. First He put a curse on the serpent and then one on Adam and Eve.
God told Eve,
"You will have pain and sorrow when you have children." He also told her that her husband would rule over her. "Adam, because you listened to your wife and ate the forbidden fruit, the ground will be cursed. You will have to work v-e-r-y hard to get food from the soil."

God loved Adam and Eve but He was very sad that they had disobeyed him. Now He had to send them out of the beautiful garden of Eden, never more to return. He fashioned and clothed them in fine skins and sent them on their way.

Later on Eve gave birth to twin boys, Cain and Abel. She also had many other children. Some of her children caused her great sorrow, just as God had told her would happen. Eve lived for many many years .Eve accomplished much in her life!
