Heaven

A mere eleven years was I
And my dream of horses seemed eternal.
Then came a golden gift to me,
It made me fly to the riding stable.

On a cloud was I,
Aware of my every sense.
Oh, the horse's smell,
Its pleasure deep and intense

Seeing the beautiful creatures,
Shining in sev'ral shades of brown and black
Riding through whirling copper dust,
Enchanted I patted my horses neck.

Warm and smooth its touch,
My hand shall never forget.
World's most lucky girl,
Under my black riding hat.

The horses snorting merrily,
The leather saddles' rhythmic cracking sound,
My mare rocking me so gently,
On whole the earth no better place be found.
