Thinking of self. It's a subject with possessive qualities, in that it occupies my bountiful fields of corn just about ready for harvest in a destructive way.
With thoughts of self invoking ego, the field becomes damaged, and a portion of the yield ruined. Not only the yield is effected. The earth, the damaged crop grew upon, is now dusty, and baron. While the crops are being yielded, I have in my head two middle age warriors. Both garbed head to toe in armor, holding shields with my insignia showing. They are comrades in arms yet they battle each other. Striking each other, and fighting to their very end to win the fight. I yell at them, "Both of you are on my team, the same team, don't harm each other, you are hurting yourselves. Striking yourself with every blow you throw. Stop fighting each other, and help fight what is against us." The two warriors don't hear. They keep battling each other as though there is nothing else in the limitlessness, but being victor.
And the seasons pass, producing smaller and smaller fields of corn. Producing as well, the loss that rides along with that reality. Now the funds are becoming smaller, along with the size of my field because I've insisted on letting the ego question my perception of myself, and those two fighting warriors. The more I do it, the more the two fight scorching my field, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day.
The more self is permitted to rule, and have dominion, the battle of life becomes more difficult, leading to events of our experience tinged with ego's primitive vision of success; selfish, ego dominated existence.
Release to the unknown, and the mercy of our loving Father Spirit Christ, heals the scorched earth giving recovery; ills become squashed. Through perfection of self, and through the Light manifesting it's fullness in communion with us, we have been revealed the path of least resistance.
Release, and ease me. Heal thyself in an explosion of willpower. Understand. How long for the fields to yield growth again to when the levels of corn were full, healthy, and abundant? The unfolding of time incorporates it's self upon regeneration, perhaps until true literal communion.
