Gratitude, and Our Spark of Divinity
A life lived in gratitude is a life of success, and achievement; it certainly is not an uncommon thought. I have had the pleasure of reading a number of opinions on the subject, and there are many who believe as I that life should be lived in gratitude.
Our miracle dictates observance of fundamental thought, and behavior. Because of the living miracle we are I believe that gratitude for our living, thinking, breathing selves, should be paramount in life.
The bible speaks of loving God our Father with all our heart, soul, and mind. Then the very next standard our Creator asks us to observe is love for our neighbor.
You have heard of the, "Imitation of Christ", written by Thomas Kempis? If not, it speaks of exhibiting the qualities of Christ. To love, care for, forgive, and nurture those around; which I believe to be a very noble practice.
God in fact looks happily at the time each of His Children, His masterpiece, IS Christ. Not to be like Christ, but to be Christ. That is an incredible thought to ponder.
That thought nourished by gratitude is life affirming!
To be Christ.
