I ran away from home, never to return. Memories too deep. Bridges behind me burn The house stood erect, Its pillars tried and true. The steps creeked and cried, "I'm alone without you." The hitting and yelling became too much to bear. You were lackadaisical. You never really cared. Now I will find new horizons. A new place to belong. Running away from home
has made me vibrant, strong.
