Somewhere sitting on the shelf, of the antique cherry hutch, covered in the dust of you and I, is the silver mug you gave to me A memento given to remember you, a memory I could never forget, my initials engraved on the outside, your initials resting inside of mine An etching of eternity on my heart, untarnished by the passing of time, the reflection of you in the aged silver, just as it was when you were mine A polished precious memory, gathered, mined, molded and poured, dusted, cleaned and shined, now filled to the brim with wine Meditating eyes close and I feel you, flowing to the place I have reserved for us, embracing my tongue the last drop reveals, me, alone with the silver mug
