I sit here alone

I sit here alone

Sitting alone, I'm starting to see a trend
Will this eternal torture never end?
I don't know what I've done thats so wrong
I write my poems, I sing a song
So tell me please, what can I do
As I cannot take my mind off you
As I sit here writing,  all alone

The world passes me by, people walk pask
Why does my love for you still last?
What can I do to make you see
The choices were made, they weren't me
I'd do anything to ease your pain
It was my loss, I had nothing to gain
Now I sit here writing, all alone

My love, my darling, maybe one day
You'll see things right, why I had my way
No harm was meant, I promise you
But things go wrong, what can you do?
I just hope that I have both your pain and mine
You know I'll love you till the end of time
While I sit here writing, all alone
