The Fairness Of Life

Live and let live,
Give or don’t give,

People don’t really care about others in the world around,
Children are homeless and starving and just wish to be found,

Rich people sit around and get massages in fancy hotels,
While young poor girls are home getting molested, the predator
Says don’t tell,

Life is great for some,
While they, laugh, drink and listen to the drum,

The poor try hard to get out of their situation,
While their father is looking for work and he’s on
Probation,

Life puts so many people in so many different destinations,
Some people are in so much tribulation,

Then there’s the in betweens,
Not too poor but not living like kings,

Africa has so many people infected with AIDS,
How did it get like that, was somebody paid?

Life gets crazy and life gets cruel,
But what if your born rich and you already have the jewel?

I hope we all have the necessary tools,
And I hope life doesn’t have us playing as hopeless fools,
