There is a secret
A poem about twins

There is a little secret
Amongst the people “up there”
That only special people
Can have the blessings we share
Not everyone can be a mum
To twins or trips or more
Not everyone can cope
With 2 or more to adore

So when you’re feeling stressed
When things don’t go your way
Just think how special you are
And more special everyday
The things you’ve had to cope with
The things you’ve had to do
Things like washing, feeding, cleaning
And weird things people say to you *Blush*

Once older these blessings show themselves
In smiles, in kisses, in hugs *Heart*
And things they make at nursery
Even fantastic mum mugs
They’ll grow together, go to school
Exams join the rat run
Or maybe they’ll be special too
And become a multiple mum
