(Lyrics) While walking down the street--one day I stopped at the park to see--the children play They looked so young and carefree My heart swelled inside Looking at those children Made me sigh I went into the mall--to look around I stopped at the food court--and I frown 'Cause all around me were children Looking bored with nothing to do And there were Mommy's yelling At one or two When I stopped at McDonald's--for a meal The children were laughing--with some squeals It made me happy To be a part of this zoo I forgot I no longer Had you I don't think I'll ever--forget What it was like when I tucked you--in bed I won't forget your smiles Not even for awhile My heart broke the day they said You were dead A mother shouldn't have--this pain A hurt so bad it drives you--insane But you had to go Do your duty--that's true Although I'm so proud, life is lonely Without you
