Birth of a Virgin Love
Romantic Poetry

Awakening in the deserted Oriental ocean
I witnessed as the morning dawn gave birth to the virgin sun,
That when the first resplendent ray reached for me
I felt the warmth of his finger tips caress my check
And a tear trickled from the once frozen glacier ducts
That had never been released before.
The endless black depths of night had finally come to an end.

Where not even Shakespeare’s ballads and plays could perform
The miracle of everlasting romance that was born,
Where reason accounts for rhyme,
Rhyme justifies reason,
Where not even Aphrodite can cast a spell of Love
Or Iris matches the beauty of his essence.
Oh where are Homers poems of a lost love?
For no poet, writer, composer, can express
The depths of the emotional ocean within the soul,
Searching and searching, yet it was not to be found,
Until the day that he was born.

Oh virgin sun,
A virgin love has been born,
A strange love, that love feels so strange,
For every want, every feeling, every desire,
That came in such an array,
Where the perfume of his fair skin is authentic within the air,
And every breath is not an affair,
But a reality of insanity,
An insanity of beauty, romance, and passion,
A sincere account of nobility, deity, and truth.
Oh Queen Elizabeth, where has your chivalry fled?
Where are the knights that would uphold truth, justice, and love?
To their tombs have they uttered their promises?
But resurrected in his enlightening eyes
Spoken in his epistle lyrics,
Restored in his espousal arms,
Where no knight could truly magistrate
The intensity that flourishes from the depths of his soul.
Drama with its divine, dainty, distinguished, and devoted diction,
Is belittled by the freedom of his freelance frailty of fine finesse metaphoric lyrics.

Oh virgin sun,
Shed your loving rays upon my broken body,
Vocalize your warmth in my soul,
Melt the frozen spirit that has been entombed.
For never a day as the rebirth of a tortured soul
Has there been such a gay joy,
When I encountered such a Love,
For every day that lays ahead,
My heart shall beat to his enchanting songs,
Where my soul will be in delight,
Just by reading his tender factions,
As my hands flow over his body
As the winds breathe over the prairies,
By scoping the profound windows of his soul,
As my eyes peer into his,
As man has telescoped the depths of the universe.
From the beginning of time,
To days beyond death,
Never will there be an everlasting romance,
A passion that will never be matched,
A true love that will never end in tragedy.
Just a love that is understandable, mutual, and predestined.

Oh virgin sun,
To this I confess,
If ever on trial,
That to this end is true,
That my love is not frail,
But of everlasting significance.
And if I am to be guilty,
Than guilty am I of giving my heart,
To a person that has touched my soul,
And if I am to be sentenced to death,
Then I welcome death,
But let death know that my heart has been given,
Given to the one that has given me his.
Given to me by his dedication of rhyme, reason, and song.
To where no other would comprehend,
To this I am true,
Only to you,
Oh virgin sun.
