THREADS OF THE PAST
I am but the weaver of a young mans scattered dream. She was the receiver, or that’s how it did seem. She left me long ago an eternity has passed but night is still aglow with the thoughts that ever last. If threads come together and bring pictures to the cloth I will know much better why departed love is loss. Love can fill empty holes and still a quivering soul. 3/17/07 Monty 3 stanzas 6 – 7 syllable, ABAB scheme ending with rhyming couplet.
