So I will explain it to you in terms you understand

I am the gale that forces you inside
I am the wind that blows through the world

I am the rain that falls on your head
I am the hail that pounds on your roof
I am the snow that buries your house
I am the water that helps you survive
I am love

I am the fire that gives warmth to your soul
I am the blaze you put out with dirt
I am the flare you send up for help
I am love

I am the earth that trembles and quakes
I am the soil that you plow with care
I am the field that yields your harvest
I am love

I am the darkness of which you’re afraid
I am the blackness that hides things from view
I am the dark sky on a starless night
I am the “off” switch in a light room
I am love

I am the light that conquers the fear
I am the light that shows you the way
I am the sun, moon, and stars in the sky
I am love

I am the warmth in a lover’s embrace
I am the hand that caresses your face
I am the heart of the whole human race
I am love

For God created the world, and to it, he gave the gift of love
With love came the power to vanquish the darkness and fill it with light
With love came the hope that fills the world
With love came the power to BELIEVE
