[author's note: this ite is still being worked on. feed back is very welcome.]
As I walked upon my way Beneath the trees, admiring the day I turned a bend And saw an old friend And to my friend said "good day!" We stooped and stood, there 'neath the birds Both wondering what to say We spoke of things Of matters trifling And soon ran out of words He made an excuse, and I promised to call Both of us knew that on this day Chance brought us together Chances were we would never See each other again at all So we parted ways on this beautiful day With much affectionate showing and both of us knowing We'd not do as we said.
