Irony in Faith
A little something I wrote for my sister while she was in the hospital.

Her body so frail
While I'm in jail
I can't do anything now,
She is hard to hear
As I begin to tear
She seems diminished somehow;
The first words that are spoken
While remaining unbroken
Ring throughout my head,
Still thinking of me
While in much misery
And just being on the brink of dead;
The angel I sent
Seemed to of just went
And brought out much irony,
The envelope did say Bow and Pray
And arrived after surgery.
