In Your Eyes

I see the whole world in your eyes.
The ocean deep, blue summer skies,

The smiling sun and tears of rain,
Love and anger, joy and pain,

Weariness of the sick and worn,
The innocence of one just born,

A warrior's cold and steely gaze,
And love alight with passion's blaze.

Young and old, foolish and wise,
I see us all inside your eyes.

Some think this world is doomed to die,
But hope is shining in your eyes.
