AN ODE TO MUSIC
Music, the sound of the soul: The whisper of the winds, Chirping of the gliding birds, The rustle of the waves; Splatter of the raindrops and The groaning of the clouds, Murmur of petulant leaves, The humming of the bee. Lilting melody of heart That is crying with pain, Mating call of the whale and The wail of the banshee; Offering of divine hymns, The call of the cuckoo, Lullaby of the mother, Laughter of the infant. All this is Nature talking The language of music, The only language of the World that is eternal. • Written in 7-6-7-6 format • Honorable Mention award in "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 26 March 2007
