I've written of sorrow
I've written of pain I've written of love And how I want it again. I've told my story In all of its truth Of every broken heart Since the time of my youth. It's all there For anyone to see All my hopes and fears And what I long to be. Yet no-one cares Or even pretends Not 'till I'm gone And my story ends. Then maybe they'll see What I've been trying to say And maybe they'll notice When I've gone away. As the clock ticks And my tears fall I wonder does life Have meaning at all? I hope that it ends Before my heart breaks again Before I've time to write more Of the sorrow within. ElizaBeth Ann Jamriska Copyright ©2007
