Our future to unfold

Circumstance, that covers your light, as an eclipse
Leaving us in the darken shroud, of the unknown
I hold you, in my whispers
On the edge of a cloud
Looking through this fog
To our future together
Beyond this pain and suffering
Beyond the separation
Your body struggling
Your mind dazed
Your foundation shaken
But your heart holds on
Holding on for us
Mine, praying, for the pain to flush from your body
So your mind and heart, can dream once more
And I will hold you, in love's embrace
Rocking you
As the breeze rocks a leaf, atop the water
Hoping and praying, that God will hear our pleas
Forgiving the past
Realizing the future we have found
The past, being a confused state
Of helplessness and searching
For just a taste, of real
Real, is what we have found
It is in the moments of mundane wonder
And the glory, of wonders discovered
And we follow with love's eyes
Our future to unfold
