DREAM PRINCE
Late night, rather, early dawn, He tumbled up with me. Snuggling up to him I asked: What might your sweet name be? All he said was darling mine, I promise this to thee: Every night in bed with you, Without fail I will be. Out of delightful frenzy, I hugged him rather tight. But, alas! He tried hard to Get out with all his might. How could I let him go so, My hero, my treasure, My beau charming, my dream prince, My fountain of pleasure? I clung to him and so begged: “Why don’t you tell your name? At least, let me see your face. Why this one-sided game? I have been waiting for you With such a longing heart. Let this be to our friendship, A memorable start”. As I waited for response From my friend charming so, All thought of love and romance, From my mind did it go, As at that blissful moment, In the morning light dim, I found crumpled atop me, My pillow, and not him.
