OH, WHAT SHALL I DO WITH MY HEART?
Oh, what shall I do with my heart? It used to feel a pain. The pain is now a hundredfold, But my heart feels it not. Oh, what shall I do with my heart? It used to sing a song. The lyrics are on my lips but I can’t give them a sound. Oh, what shall I do with my heart? It used to throb so wild. But it’s so much frozen up now, Not a whisper it has. I don’t know if my heart is dead, Or , if I live at all. Why did I love if there was this Heartbreak destined for me? • Written in 8-6-8-6 format •• Winner of Honourable Mention award in ‘The Strength of Words Contest’, "The Strength of Words Contest", Round 4 (April Round).
