The Science of Love
All I longed to do is hold her for one second...

No science could warm my heart
as tender as your presence
The love I pray you share with me
so delicate yet so strong

My thoughts of you cheer me up
as in my dreams we grow closer together
In reality, we remain farther apart
a coldness when my eyes open in the morn

These thoughts and dreams
so precious to me
Would be traded in a half a tick
to hold you in my arms
for only an instant.
