for the "Make a Creature" contest
by lemur (1) "Baby-Bumble-Bear" I came upon a unique beast today: It had a yellow coat with stripes of grey. A stubby little tail and tiny feet And fuzzy fur that seemed to smell so sweet. It wasn’t very big, about knee-high With curling eyelashes above each eye. A sweet round face, a little button nose And curling tufts of fur around its toes. A chubby body, like a baby bear, But when it purred, I had to stop and stare!! Well, maybe not a purr, Perhaps a buzz? Well, possibly a hum, is what it was. It stopped to eat a flower next to me. It looked just like a baby bumble-bee! And then I knew, I’d seen a beast so rare... It was a baby of the Bumble-Bear! 4-2-07 rhyming couplets meter: 10-10
