Risen, the sun finds its way to you earlier these days.
Even after all these years the thought of hope lingers. Asked the moon why she cried last night, she didn't respond. With all of this rain, I have almost forgotten why I loved you. Another picture frame awaits, empty for the time being. Keeping the secret of the loss I felt, holding the facade of happiness. Every night the stars try to tell a secret, but no one listens. Never going to forget that day in the mountains. In the sense of the terms, this is as natural as it comes. Needing to concentrate and yet wanting to run away. Giving over to the dark side of the river, no longer waiting. Nearing the brink of insanity, not wanting to turn back. Afraid of letting go and yet knowing you will never return. Tonight is the last that I will spend thinking of you. Unable to feel the pain, only one emotion remains intact. Reawakening nature isn't easy when tears get in the way. Etched into my flesh are the crimson lines of goodbye.
