SUNSHINE ON THE MOUNTAIN
There is sunshine on the mountain, as shadows grow across the glen, sounds of the bubbling fountain; I’d like a chance to try again. Memories of another time in a different place now grow, thoughts of the love we shared so fine such as many will never know. Everything is reminding me of the beauty within your soul, the part that was seen easily; it’s that beautiful part I stole. The sunshine in your gleaming smile, glistening from your pretty face; My actions - shadows for awhile plunging me into deep disgrace. I think the sound of your laughter was something like the fountain makes but my thoughts are too late after and now the ground beneath me shakes. There is sunshine on the mountain as shadows grow across the glen sounds of the bubbling fountain I’d like a chance to try again 4/5/07 Monty
